**** deadline approaching - September 29th, 2019 ****
The Neuro-Mechanical Modeling and Engineering Lab at the University of
Twente is seeking for an outstanding PhD candidate and post-doctoral fellow
to work within the newly funded EU ERC project INTERACT (http://bit.ly/NMLab).
The openings focus on developing data-driven models of the human
neuromuscular system for real-time closed-loop neuro technologies.
We offer high-reaching positions with a generous allowance as well as
extraordinary research facilities and working environment. Please, apply
via the links below no later than September 29th, 2019:
PhD opening: http://bit.ly/ERC_PhD
PostDoc opening: http://bit.ly/ERCPostDoc
*The ERC project INTERACT:* The aim is to develop a new class of
data-driven numerical models that can capture an individual's neuromuscular
anatomy as well as how it changes over time. These models will be used to
establish new closed-loop control methods for robotic exoskeletons and
spinal cord stimulators.
*The University of Twente:* We stand for life sciences and technology. High
tech and human touch. Education and research that matter. New technology
which leads change, innovation and progress in society. We have a strong
focus on personal development and talented researchers are given scope for
carrying out groundbreaking research.
