There was a long thread on the UAI list last year discussing the pros and cons of double-blind reviewing: http://cs.oregonstate.edu/~dambrosi/uai-archive-00-01/0905.html As far as I know, UAI decided to stay single blind, I think because the committee decided the benefits did not outweigh the costs.
