Post-Doctoral Positions in Connectionist Modeling of Reading and Language

Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition and the Department of Psychology,
Carnegie Mellon University

Two postdoctoral research positions are available in the area of
connectionist/neural-network modeling of normal and impaired cognitive
processes in reading and language.  Topics of particular interest include
phonological and lexical development, reading acquisition and developmental and
acquired dyslexia, cross-linguistic differences in morphological processing,
and neuropsychological impairments of lexical semantic knowledge.  Applicants
should have expertise in connectionist modeling or in empirical investigation
of language-related processes combined with some experience in modeling.  The
positions are for 2-3 years, with salary commensurate with experience, and are
affiliated with the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition
