[auton-users] DNS problems

(note there's a second, unrelated, issue at the end of this message).

Ever since we changed registrars for the autonlab.org and autonlab.com
domains we've been experiencing trouble. It will usually come in the form
of getting a "site not found" message when you try to access the
web-site or problems sending mail to any of the autonlab.org mailing lists.

dotster.com, the new contractor, has been less than helpful in resolving
these. In fact we're very close to taking our business elsewhere (at least
as far as DNS hosting is concerned). Before we do that I'd like to know if
you are still experiencing problems. I've made some emergency changes
yesterday (I've removed the out-of-sync dotster.com server from the list of
authoritative servers for the domain) and it's possible that is enough to
hide the issue.

So, I'm asking you to try and browse to the following URLs:
http://www.autonlab.org
http://autonlab.org
http://www.autonlab.com
http://autonlab.com

and tell me if you encounter any problems. Please do this from different
machines located on different networks so we get a feel of how it looks
like from outside CMU.

[if you're using Mozilla you should also be seeing the new eye icon
on your URL bar at the top but that's not really related. Another
not-related thing is that mozilla is now installed on RedHat facilitized
machines as of last night.]
