Connectionists: Funded Ph.D. Positions at the Max Planck ETH Center for Learning Systems

Apply to do your Ph.D. in our joint academic program between ETH Zurich, Switzerland and the Max Planck Society, primarily the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart / Tuebingen, Germany. We are currently accepting applications to join our program in 2025.
 
In our Center for Learning Systems (CLS) doctoral training program, Ph.D. students are co-supervised by one advisor from ETH Zurich and one from the MPI for Intelligent Systems, the MPI for Informatics in Saarbruecken or the ELLIS Institute Tuebingen. All Ph.D. fellows will register as graduate students at ETH Zurich and, upon successful completion of their Ph.D. project, will be granted a doctoral degree by ETH. The highly competitive fellowship program offers a wide range of activities including retreats and workshops. Fellowships are fully funded. The program language is English.
