With more than 10,000 students, **Hochschule Bielefeld – University of
Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI)** stands for highest standards in
teaching, research and knowledge transfer. Its six faculties Design and

Bielefeld School of Business and Health work in an interdisciplinary,
research-based and closely linked manner. Regional and international
cooperation as well as practised diversity and sustainability shape the
work at the campuses in Bielefeld, Minden and Gütersloh.
As part of the **“Career at BI”** project, in cooperation with **Lenze
SE**, the Faculty of Engineering and Mathematics seeks to fill a tandem

for long-term use. Using methods such as transfer learning, domain
adaptation, drift detection and (data and knowledge-driven) hybrid
modelling, you will design and implement workflows for machine learning
with which this aim can be achieved.
To collect data and validate the developed procedures, you will work on
real machines and processes.
As part of your employment with HSBI, you will be assigned to the
cooperation partner for 10 hours per week. The employment will be 74.9%
with HSBI and 25.1% with Lenze SE, with a majority of working hours
