We are excited to announce the 2nd Surgical Data Science Summer School to
be held in Strasbourg, France, July 17 – 21, 2023.

The Summer School aims to promote research and innovation in Surgical Data
Science of clinical value by educating clinicians and computer scientists
on respective contexts, needs, tools and methodologies.

Last year's edition was a success! We received 75 applicants, of which 12
engineers and 12 clinicians were selected. They were mentored by a
world-class faculty and worked on translational group projects bridging
clinical and computer science education. The intense five-day program also
provided them with hands-on coding and clinical experience at the
state-of-the-art facilities of the Institute of Image-Guided Surgery,
IHU-Strasbourg, France.
Ready to join the second edition of the SDS Summer School? Apply for a
chance to deepen your knowledge on endoscopic video analysis with AI and
work together with clinical and computer science experts to improve
surgical care.

We invite early-career computer science and clinical researchers who are
