YOUR TEAM
You will be working in the Pattern Analysis and Computer vision (PAVIS) Research Line, a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural group where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out the research on Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence.
PAVIS research line is coordinated by Dr. Alessio Del Bue.
Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:
    Hardware and software prototyping of computational systems based on Computer Vision and Machine Learning technology;
    Support PAVIS facility maintenance and organization;
    Support PAVIS Technology Transfer initiatives (external projects);
    Support PAVIS researcher activities;
    Support PAVIS operations (procurement, ICT services, troubleshooting, data management, logistics, equipment management and maintenance).

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE
    A master or bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar discipline
    Documented experience in Computer Programming using Python and Computer Vision
    Documented experience of Windows and Linux programming and managing tools
    Good knowledge of the English language
    A cooperative approach
    Accuracy and good analytical skills

EXTRA AWESOME
    Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning models (e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow, CUDA)
    Experience with modern software development tools and technologies (CI/CD, test driven development, Git, microservices, Docker, MQTT, DevOps)
    Working experience in the public or private research sector
    Experience developing software for interfacing sensors (cameras, PTZ, RGBD sensors, thermocameras) or GPUs
    Experience in managing computer networks and network programming
    Good communication skills
    Strong problem solving attitude
    High motivation to learn
    Spirit of innovation and creativity
    Good in time and priority management
    Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary and multicultural environment
