** Call for POSTERS/DEMO PAPERS **

In conjunction with CIKM 2020 <https://cikm2020.org/> (October 19th-23rd,
2020)

CIKM 2020 will be a fully virtual conference, with no travel involved, and
presentations will be given via pre-recorded videos, followed by
synchronized online discussions during the scheduled conference period.

In this context, please note the revised submission deadlines below.

The posters and demos track at CIKM aims to provide the opportunity for
researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to
showcase their prototypes and research ideas to the community.

We seek demonstrations and posters that showcase exciting new technologies
and early prototypes within the scope of CIKM, as well as case studies from
more mature systems with innovative features and functionalities.

Important Dates (Updated):

Demo and Poster Paper Submission Deadline: June 24, 2020

Demo and Poster Paper Acceptance Notification: August 7, 2020

Demo and Poster Paper Camera Ready Submission Deadline: August 28, 2020

All of the above deadlines are based on the Anywhere on Earth time
Submission Guidelines - Demos

Demo papers should describe the intended audience, point out the innovative
aspects of the system being presented, and explain how those aspects
contribute to the state of the art in knowledge and information management.
The submissions must also make clear what the audience will experience
during the demo. Submissions that are case studies should also explain the
case being demonstrated. Authors may also include a URL of a screencast
video (up to 10 minutes), screenshots, and additional external material
(e.g., shared code on GitHub). A demo paper must be no more than 4 pages
long (including references).

Submission Guidelines - Posters

Poster papers generally include late-breaking results of new and innovative
work-in-progress research. The poster session fosters informal interactions
between presenters and conference attendees, who will have the opportunity
to explore and exchange ideas on the latest ongoing research projects.
Submitted posters are expected to be aligned with the main CIKM topics. A
poster paper must be no more than 4 pages long (including references).
