Microsoft Research in New York City seeks outstanding postdoc applicants in the areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and related fields.

The typical length of a postdoc here is two years, following the academic calendar.  A one-year postdoc is also possible, if you have (or will have) a tenure-track offer and are able to defer it for at least one year to accept our position.

Qualifications:


·        PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related field; all PhD requirements, including final thesis submission, must be completed prior to joining the lab.
·        Research ability demonstrated by peer-reviewed conference or journal publications.
·        Research agenda that overlaps with ML group.
·        Participation and activity in the scientific community.
·        Strong communication skills.
·        The ability to work in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
