Connectionists: Early stage Researcher position at Univ Cambridge UK

An early stage researcher position (Research Assistant, PhD or early stage postdoc)  is available to work in Computational Cognitive Neuroscience at the Adaptive Brain Lab (http://www.abg.psychol.cam.ac.uk). The project forms part of the Marie Curie Action – Innovative Training Network: DyViTo (https://dyvito.wordpress.com) and aims to uncover how the brain learns to make optimal perceptual decisions. The successful applicant will combine behavioural paradigms, with state-of-the-art brain imaging and computational modeling (including deep learning approaches for visual recognition). They will receive multi-disciplinary research training at the interface between psychology, neuroscience, computer science, engineering and industrial design. 

Applicants should have a strong academic track record in a relevant area (e.g., Psychology, Neuroscience, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics). They must satisfy the eligibility requirements that apply to all Marie Curie Early Stage Researchers: they cannot be in possession of a PhD qualification, and should not have resided in the UK for more than 12 months before appointment.
