*Job description*

SPECS (Synthetic Perceptive Emotive and Cognitive Systems) is seeking to 
hire a Software Developer to support the robotics team and contribute to 
the development of highly innovative research and applications combining 
robotics and neuroscience.


*Qualifications*

  * Good knowledge in C++, C#, Python.
  * B.S., M.S., or PhD in computer science or a related field
  * Good communication skills in English

*Extra knowledge (desired skills)*

  * Robot libraries and operative systems: ROS, YARP.
  * Computer vision, Classifiers (knowledge in OpenCV)
  * Sensor and actuators
  * Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

*Additional Information*

SPECS research group is part of IBEC (Bioengineering Institute of 
Catalonia), located in Barcelona, Spain (http://ibecbarcelona.eu/specs). 
It’s a multidisciplinary group that develops basic and applied research 
projects in the area of neuroscience. Our collaborators include the top 
universities from around the world, national research lab.
