<p><b>Job description</b></p>
<p>SPECS (Synthetic Perceptive Emotive and Cognitive Systems) is
seeking to hire a Software Developer to support the robotics team
and contribute to the development of highly innovative research
and applications combining robotics and neuroscience.</p>

</p>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Good knowledge in C++, C#, Python.</li>
<li>B.S., M.S., or PhD in computer science or a related field</li>
<li>Good communication skills in English</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Extra knowledge (desired skills)</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Robot libraries and operative systems: ROS, YARP. <br>
</li>
<li>Computer vision, Classifiers (knowledge in OpenCV) <br>
</li>
<li>Sensor and actuators <br>
</li>
<li>Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence<br>
</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Additional Information</b></p>
<p>SPECS research group is part of IBEC (Bioengineering Institute of
Catalonia), located in Barcelona, Spain
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://ibecbarcelona.eu/specs">http://ibecbarcelona.eu/specs</a>). It’s a multidisciplinary group
that develops basic and applied research projects in the area of
neuroscience. Our collaborators include the top universities from
around the world, national research lab. <br>
