understanding the computational mechanisms of learning in biological
systems and artificial agents, and will be primarily based in the Department
of Experimental Psychology

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with an
industry partner.

Applicants should have strong quantiative skills and a background in
computer science, computational neuroscience, statistics, or a related
discipline. Applicants with a joint interest in both machine learning/AI
research and computational neurobiology are particularly encouraged to
apply.

details). This project is funded for four years by the Biotechnology and
Biological Sciences Research Council BBSRC and as such is only available to
UK and EU candidates. Successful students will receive a stipend of no less
than the standard RCUK stipend rate, currently set at £14,777 per year.
