Connectionists: Second Interdisciplinary Symposium on Information-Seeking, Curiosity and Attention

Dear colleagues,

We are happy to invite you to the second interdisciplinary symposium on Information-seeking, curiosity and attention that will be held at the British Medical Association in London, England on October 6-8, 2016. 

Following a highly successful first meeting held in 2014, this symposium aims to foster a vigorous exchange of ideas among pre-eminent researchers who investigate these topics in developmental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, computational modelling and single neuron physiology.

Confirmed speakers include Jonathan Nelson, Doug Markant, Laurence Hunt, Sid Kouider, Matthias Gruber, Kou Murayama, Jill O’Reilly, Louise Goupil, Pierre-Yves Oudeyer, Manuel Lopes, Gianluca Baldassare, Karl Friston, Kenji Doya, Peter Dayan, Wolfram Schultz, Lisa Feigenson, Alison Gopnick, Andrew Bell, Jacqueline Gottlieb and Daphne Bavelier. 

Faculty, students, trainees, and education professionals are encouraged to attend.
