Oregon State is hiring in all areas of robotics. Details at
http://robotics.oregonstate.edu/jobs

The Oregon State University Robotics program seeks applications for
full-time faculty positions to support our M.S. and Ph.D. programs in
Robotics. All areas of robotics will be considered. Appointments are
anticipated at the Assistant Professor rank, but exceptionally strong
candidates may be considered at the rank of Associate Professor or
Professor. The successful candidates will have office and laboratory
space physically located with the existing Robotics group, and will have
an administrative home most appropriate to their area of expertise
within the College of Engineering. As a Land/Sea/Air/Space grant
institution, with strong ties to oceanography and the NOAA fleet, as
well as hosting an FAA UAV test site, there are many opportunities to
collaborate across disciplines and utilize Robotics as an enabling
technology.

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in a robotics related discipline by the
start of employment, and have a demonstrated record of scholarship. We
particularly welcome candidates with a proven record of working with
robots in real environments. Duties include teaching undergraduate and
graduate courses, conducting research, securing research funding, and
service. Candidates should show evidence of strong research promise,
potential for developing an externally-funded research program, and
commitment to quality advising and teaching at the graduate and
undergraduate levels. Applicants who are women or underrepresented
minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Oregon State University is located in Corvallis, a college town renowned
for its high quality of life. For full consideration, apply online by
Feb 15, 2016 with a letter of interest; vita; two-page statement of
research interests; one-page statement of teaching interests; one-page
statement of philosophy toward equity, inclusion and diversity; and
names and contact information for at least three references.
