Dear colleagues,

for whom of you interested in pattern recognition, soft computing, image 
analysis,
computer vision and related I would gather your attention to ICIAP 2013 
conference.

ICIAP2013  http://www.iciap2013-naples.org/ is an historic international 
conference in image processing and pattern recognition endorsed by the 
International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR), the Technical 
Committee PAMI, and the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.

The 17th edition of 2013 will be held in the beautiful and ancient 
castle Castel dell'Ovo of Napoli, Italy on September 11-13, 2013. A good 
occasion to enjoy also its wonderful surroundings: the ancient ruins of 
Pompeii and Herculaneum, the Phlegrean Fields, and the spectacular 
islands -- Capri, Ischia, Procida.

The official submission deadline is March 29, 2013, but due to Easter holidays the submission site will be opened till

Please take in consideration that selected papers will be collected in one issue of the 'Pattern Recognition Letters'journal and more than one issues of the 'Information 
Sciences' journal.

We look forward to receiving your contribution and to meeting you in 
Napoli in September.

Extended versions of selected papers will be considered for inclusion 
in  "Pattern Recognition Letters" and  "Information Sciences" journals.
