The School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh is recruiting to
several positions which start out as fellowships (no or highly reduced
teaching/admin) and progress over 5 years to permanent faculty positions.
Machine Learning and Computational Neuroscience, both theoretical and
applied, are of interest, particularly where the candidate's research
programme complements our considerable existing strengths. Core ML and
CNS research is concentrated in the Institute for Adaptive and Neural
Computation, but most of the other Institutes conduct research that
includes applied ML tracks, and there is CNS-related work in the
Institute for Perception Action and Behaviour.
