Hi,

Software for N-body problems, including KD-trees, dual trees, distance
transforms and fast multipole methods is now available at:

http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~awll/nbody_methods.html

It's written in C, but can be called from matlab and it's pretty easy to
use.

There's some demos for marginal particle filtering and particle
smoothing. The software can also be easily applied to Gaussian processes
and other kernel methods for dimensionality reduction and clustering.
I'd be happy to answer questions about it at ICML.

Enjoy.
Nando
