The research group Neuroinformatics (Prof. Helge Ritter)
at the University of Bielefeld is offering a research project
position for a

Research Assistant with salary according to BAT-IIa.

The position will be affiliated
with the Special Collaborative Research Unit (Sonderforschungsbereich)
SFB 360: Situated Artificial Communicators   (
http://www.sfb360.uni-bielefeld.de/sfbengl.html  ).
Research topic of the project is visual  instruction of robot actions
based
on teaching by showing. The project provides the opportunity for a
dissertation.

 Applicants should have a university degree
(Masters or german diploma) in computer science,
electrical engineering or physics and should
have a  good knowledge in Unix/C/C++ programming.
A good background in the fields of robotics/neural networks/computer
vision
is desireable.

The University of Bielefeld follows a policy to increase the
