Research Post in Parallel Implementation of Neural Networks
(Ref: web/6051)

The above post is available immediately to work on an EPSRC-funded
project investigating the parallel implementation of binary neural
networks. The work will centre on parallelisation and load-balancing
of neural network software on a special purpose parallel associative
neural network machine (Cortex-1) under construction in the
department. You will be expected to be proficient in C++ and
programming at the systems level. Knowledge of parallelisation, neural
networks, performance evaluation and MPI would be an advantage, but is
not essential.

The post is available for a period of up to 8 months and the salary
