Computational Neuroscience of Learning and Memory. Postdoctoral
position open for January, 2001, start. Work on computational
models of neural substrates of associative learning in animals and
humans, with reference to the hippocampal, basal forebrain, basal
ganglia, amygdala, and frontal brain systems. Applicants must have
strong prior record (PhD thesis and/or papers) in the theory,
implementation, and analysis of neural network algorithms and models.
Some familiarity with relevant biological and behavioral systems
helpful. Modeling will be integrated into ongoing experimental studies
of the psychobiology of animal conditioning, and the neuropsychology
of human memory disorders. Additional training in these areas provided.
