Call for papers and participation:

                               NNW 2000
               10th Anniversary International Conference on
Artificial Neural Networks and Intelligent Systems
Prague, Czech Republic, July 9-12, 2000

Purpose of the conference

The main focus of NNW2000 is the development and application of
computational paradigms inspired by natural processes, namely
artificial neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, and related
subjects including adaptive agents, artificial life, soft computing,
etc.

The conference takes place in the year of the 10th anniversary of
founding the Neural Network World international scientific journal. It
is jointly organized by Institute of Computer Science, Academy of
Sciences of the Czech Republic, Neural Network World Editorial Board
and Action M Agency.

Call for papers

Prospective authors are invited to submit a draft version of paper
describing original results for review by an international Program
Committee. The paper should be written in English and should not
exceed 8 pages. Proposals for tutorials, special sessions, and
workshops are also invited.

Electronic submission of paper is preferred. It is possible via the
conference web site or by email to nnw2000 at uivt.cas.cz

Alternatively, three printed copies can be sent to the following
address:

Roman Neruda
Institute of Computer Science
Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic
PO Box 5
18207 Prague
Czech Republic

Accepted papers will be published in the special issue of the Neural
Network World journal and available at the conference. Submitting the
final version of papers will follow the standard Neural Network World
instructions for authors: LaTeX versions (standard article document
class) with Encapsulated Postscript figures are preferred, alternative
formats (such as MS Word) are possible.
