Machine Learning Research Position at NASA Ames Research Center.


The Automated Learning Group at NASA Ames Research Center is seeking
applicants for the position of Principal Investigator. The successful
applicant for this position would initiate new research in the 
general field of machine learning and statistical inference. Although
not restricted to such problems, the main thrust of the investigator's 
work is expected to involve projects to be carried out by NASA.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in a relevant field and an
outstanding research record. 

Current members of the Automated Learning Group include David Wolpert,
Peter Cheeseman, Kagan Tumer, David Maluf, Vadim Smelyanskiy, Robin Morris
and Esfandiar Bandari. The Automated Learning Group is part of the
the Automated Software Engineering Research Area led by Michael Lowry.
