The focus of ICANNGA is on theoretical aspects and
    practical applications of computational paradigms
    inspired by natural processes, especially
ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS and EVOLUTIONARY ALGORITHMS.

ICANNGA 2001 will include invited plenary talks, contributed
papers, poster session, tutorials and a social program.

    CONFERENCE TOPICS

The following list indicates some areas of interest, but
    is not exhaustive:

   * Neural Networks: Architectures, Algorithms, Approximation,
     Complexity, Biological Foundations, Computational Neuroscience

   * Evolutionary Computation: Genetic Algorithms, Genetic
     Programming, Classifier Systems, Artificial Life

   * Hybrid Systems: Fuzzy Logic, Soft Computing, Neuro-Fuzzy
Controllers, Genetic Learning of Neural Networks

   * Applications: Pattern Recognition, Signal Processing,
