6-MONTH RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (POSTDOC LEVEL)

TOPIC : Recurrent neural networks and language processing

This short term position is to study computational
properties of neural networks in language processing.  The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in neural
networks or dynamic systems theory and preferably have
some experience with linguistics or formal language
theory. Good programming skills and familiarity with Unix
will be expected. 

The position is available for six months during 1997.
Salary will be at the level of a University of Queensland
postdoctoral position (around A$38,000).  Relocation
expenses to and from Brisbane cannot be provided on this 
grant.
