(Fwd) Student Assistantship in Optical Neural Networks

The Neural Network Processing Group at Wichita State University, Wichita,
Kansas, is currently seeking qualified Ph.D. candidates in the area of optical 
neural network  implementations.   Research Assistantships are available from
$10,000 to $14,000 per  year depending on qualifications.  

Candidates should presently have a M.S. degree from an accredited program
and will be expected to enroll as a full time Ph.D. student in the College of  
Engineering.  The appointment will also be contingent on meeting Graduate 
School requirements. 

We are especially interested in individuals who have experience with:

photorefractive materials, 
nonlinear optics and
artificial neural networks.
