  Fourth Congress of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence
                   Firenze, October  11-13, 1995

THEME
-----------
The Congress of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence is the
most relevant national event in the field of Artificial Intelligence for
both researchers interested in the methodological  aspects  and
practitioners involved in applications.

Papers will include both long and short presentations on  substantial,
original and previously unpublished research in all aspects of AI,
including, but not limited to:

           - Automated Reasoning
           - Knowledge Representation
           - Architectures and Languages for AI
           - Machine Learning
           - Natural Language
           - Planning and Robotics
           - Qualitative Reasoning
           - Perception and Vision
           - Distributed Artificial Intelligence
           - Cognitive Modeling
           - Connectionist Models.

PAPER SUBMISSION
------------------------

Five  (5) copies of original papers not exceeding 5000 words (about 10
single spaced pages)    MUST BE POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE MONDAY  APRIL 10,
1995  to:

Each copy of the paper must  include a cover sheet, separate from the body
of the paper, including: title of the paper, full name, postal addresses,
phone number, fax numbers, e-mail adresses, if any, of all authors, an
abstract of 100-200 words and a set of keywords giving the area/subarea of
the paper and describing the topic of the paper. NO ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION
WILL BE ACCEPTED.

ATTENDANCE
-----------------------
At least one author of the papers selected for oral and/or poster
presentation must attend the  Conference.
