Before this debate gets too political (and I do agree with Peggy and Gary),
I'd like to point out that all of the limericks posted were in the modern
limerick form, in which the first and fifth lines rhyme, but don't 
recap.  The traditional limerick form, made most popular by Lear, has
a reiteration of first and fifth.  Here's an example in the traditional
form to make up for this lack:

Said a wizened old grad with a net,
"Alas, It has not converged yet!"
   The learn rate? why 1,
   Momentum? ummm ... none.
That frustrated grad with a net.
