"A model of the olfactory adaptation and sensitivity enhancement in the
olfactory bulb" by Zhaoping LI, in Biological Cybernetics p349-361 62/4 1990.

Adaptation and enhancement --- Attention!? Central inputs 'similar' to Crick's
search light is used for the mechanism. This paper describes a model of a
oscillatory neural system in the bulb,  agrees with experimental findings and 
suggests further experiments.
