Summer Course on
COMPUTATIONAL NEUROSCIENCE: LEARNING AND MEMORY

July 14-17, 1990

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory

Organizers:
	Michael Jordan, MIT
Terrence Sejnowski, Salk Institute and UCSD

This is an intensive laboratory and lecture course that will examine
computational approaches to problems in learning and memory. Problems
and techniques from both neuroscience and cognitive science will be
covered, including learning procedures that have been developed
recently for neural network models.

The course will include a computer-based laboratory so that students
can actively explore computational issues. Students will be able to
informally interact with the lecturers. A strong grounding in
mathematics and previous exposure to neurobiology is essential
for students.
