Team,
Tomorrow we will start this year's edition of the informal ML equalizer
course.
It is especially directed to our interns, new staff hires, and new students.
But of course everyone else in the Lab is also welcome to sit in.
The goal is to review together safe and effective practices of designing ML
experiments and assessing their results. I will kick it off, maybe deliver
2-3 more lectures, but this year we also expect other members of our team
to contribute as presenters as well. If you are senior staff or a senior
PhD student and wish to practice your teaching skills or grow them while
having fun, please let me know.
Our sessions will take place on Fridays from 4 to 5:30pm, in NSH 3305.
Zoom link is available for those of us who cannot join in person:

Sometimes, after the lecture we may go for the famous and sensational Auton
Walk in Schenley Park. It is possible, even likely, it will happen
tomorrow, so please wear comfy shoes and be ready for a relatively
short hike in the woods.
Cheers,
Artur
