Issue with new printer

Quick update on the status of printing. 

1. I hunted down the person who set the printer server and got info I
needed.

2. HP socket printing is disabled so they are forcing us to use their
printer server monolith.scs.ad.cs.cmu.edu

3. monolith is not set for anything else except Windows so the guy
enabled LPD server so that we can print.

4. I configured printer on my machine and sent jobs "successfully"
without errors in my log files. However I was not able to print.

5. I hunted down the guy again. After looking quickly over server
configuration I fixed few configuration mistakes. However mckinley is
still listed as offline. Even the guy could not send his test job to
mckinley.

Summary: Printing is broke and you will not be able to print until
facilities fix their server.

Alternative solution: If they don't fix the problem in 1-2 days I will
just get an old printer for my office and make my desktop printer server
for our Lab.
