Jim Skees has just let me know that we're going to be without air 
conditioning this Saturday, the 31st, from 7am-11pm.  I know some of you 
are still processing for the ICML deadline in particular, but this is 
going to necessitate turning off most if not all of the compute machines 
from Friday night to Sunday morning.  I will of course leave busy 
machines to the end, but if termperatures get too high, I will have to 
shut everything down.  So, starting any long-running jobs now is 
probably futile.

If this is going to cause you any major problems, let me know.  It may 
be possible to provide enough cooling some other way if we have some 
advanced notice.
