Okay, I found the problem. The localhost line had been removed from
/etc/hosts at some point (dunno when or why). I put it back. Same for
lazy. Liver, mysteriously, had already been corrected.
Let me know if this doesn't solve the problems you're experiencing below.
I'd much rather get this to work on the GNU/Linux Alphas than fool with
tcl/tk on Tru64. =-)
