Internship Opportunity in IBM T. J. Watson Research Center

We are conducting research on business process monitoring, modeling, and
discovery that is already impacting the current IBM Business Process
Management suite of products. We are looking to fill an internship position
with a Ph.D. student in Computer Science (or related field) with skills in
programming and algorithms, and advanced knowledge of data mining and
probability. The intern's project will target one or more of our existing
research directions in process mining, monitoring and provenance systems,
and will involve designing and implementing new algorithms. We are looking
for someone who is passionate and driven, and can create tangible results
during the course of the internship. Results could include workshop and
conference papers, patents, and contributions to IBM products. Previous
intern authored publications in our group include Motahari et al. (WWW 2007)
and Rosenberg et al. (Int'l Conference on Service Oriented Computing, 2009,
IEEE Internet Computing, 2009). The internship position will be in
Cambridge, MA.
