[Research] Auton Lab's Pride List

Let's compile a pride list of Auton Lab!

At Auton Lab, we're proud of doing things that are cool, great, with
high-impact and eventually will benefit the world.  In the past more than
one decade, this implicit value system has motivated our lab members to do
excellent project one after another and create numerous successful stories
where we demonstrated to the world our true value. Now, let's take some
time  to reflect our greatest achievement at Auton Lab that you're mostly
proud  of. The result from this exercise will be compiled into a "success
stories"  webpage on our Auton website, this would provide an efficient
overview of lab's capability to outsider visitor who is looking into our
lab for solutions. In the Adwords program soon to be launched, this
webpage would serve as the landing page for the visitors directed from
Adwords search.  (P.S. Google Adwords is a free advertisement program
recently awarded through Google Grant).

Please list THREE greatest things that you and/or your colleagues have
done that we should be so proud to tell people outside the lab.  Here are
some guidelines:

*the work should have real world impact or have potential real impact,
substantiated with concrete application example are especially desirable;

*start from your own work, but you could also cite other lab member's
work;

*take perspective of user: what's the significance of your work? What
they could benefit from your work? Why they should care?

*describe in a snappy way so that even a busy people you meet in the
elevator would chase you for more information after your 30 second preach;

*describe in plain language so that even your grandma has no problem to
understand;

Lab Alumni are also encouraged to contribute. If you feel like to list
more than three, feel free to extend the list.  Please submit your answer
to me by noon next Thursday (May 4). The list would be compiled and shared
among all lab members. We will discuss more details about the "success
stories"  webpage and Adwords campaign design in the upcoming lab meeting,
so it's imperative that you finish this "homework" by then.
