The Dynamic Decision Making Laboratory (DDMLab) in the department of Social and Decision Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) has twoopenings for Postdoctoral fellowship position to be part of interdisciplinary research projects involving collaborations with multiple universities.



Both post-doctoral positions will involve behavioral and computational research on dynamic decision making and decisions from experience. Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in Psychology, Decision Sciences, or Human Factors Engineering, and should have broad research interests involving human behavior, learning and decision making from the cognitive/social psychology perspectives.



The ideal candidate should have a strong behavioral background (experimental and cognitive psychology, decision sciences) and also a technical background (cognitive/computational modeling, machine learning, data mining). Technical skills in Matlab and R are ideal. Demonstrated writing abilities of research manuscripts is required.



Position 1. The post-doctoral fellow will be involved in a research project funded by the National Science Foundation, aiming at the study of decision making phenomena that emerges from Decisions from Experience. The candidate should have a strong background on behavioral and computational research and will work directly with Professor Gonzalez and other fellows in the DDMLab.



Position 2. The post-doctoral fellow will be involved in a research project funded by the Army Research Laboratories, aiming at the study of trust and credibility and the emergence, maintenance and reduction of trust and credibility with experience. The candidate should have a strong background on behavioral and computational research, and will work with Professor Gonzalez and collaborators in many other universities.
