The George Washington University Department of Psychology is accepting
applications for an opening at the assistant professor level in the area
of cognitive neuroscience. We would greatly appreciate if you would
share the position announcement provided below with any colleagues who
may be interested in applying.
Myeong-Ho Sohn
Assistant Professor, Cognitive Neuroscience. The Department of
Psychology at George Washington University invites applications for a
tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor to join a
program in Cognitive Neuroscience beginning Fall 2007. We will
consider applicants working in all areas of cognition including, but
not limited to, learning, memory, perception, attention,
executive/control processes and decision-making. An ideal candidate
will be someone who has a strong background in both cognitive
psychology and neuroscience. Basic Qualifications: Applicants must
have Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field by August 1, 2007,
a commitment to research as evidenced by publications in scholarly
journals, and a planned research program with the potential for future
external funding is expected. Salary and start up costs are very
competitive. George Washington University is an Equal
