2007 Beckman Institute Fellows Program
Applications are now being accepted for the 2007 Beckman Institute
Fellows Program. The Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois is
an interdisciplinary research center that focuses on three main research
initiatives: Biological Intelligence, Human-Computer Intelligent
Interaction, and Molecular and Electronic Nanostructures. The fields of
research encompassed by the Fellows program include the behavioral and
biological sciences, chemistry, physics, computation, engineering, human
factors, neuroscience, and cognitive neuroscience.
Year 2007 Beckman Institute Fellows will be appointed for up to three
years, beginning as early as June 2007 and no later tan December 31,
2007. Fellows receive $51,000 per year, a research budget, and limited
reimbursement for health insurance premiums. To be eligible, a Ph.D.
must have been received no earlier than December 2004.
