About Computer-music-reading-group	English (USA)
This semester (Spring 2026), the Music AI reading group will focus on recent research trends in Music+AI. We’ll read, present, and discuss research papers every Thursday 4-5pm (provided we have presenters signed up). Topics may include emerging trends in Music AI, music understanding and generation, multimodal systems, real-time and interactive systems, as well as broader implications of these technologies. Our goal is to curate a list of papers we’re excited about as a group and foster an environment that encourages staying up to date with the field through active discussions and participation. To post a message to all the list members, send email to computer-music-reading-group@mailman.srv.cs.cmu.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Computer-music-reading-group
Subscribe to Computer-music-reading-group by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
