Postdoctoral position in computer vision for surveillance

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate for a postdoctoral 
position in computer vision for surveillance applications. The work will 
take place in the context of a project recently funded by the Swiss 
Governement, where the main goal is to design an intrusion detection 
system that can leverage on incremental learning techniques and 
automatic scene parameter adaptation. The project involves a Small 
company and a Technological university.

The ideal postdoctoral candidate is expected to have a PhD in computer 
science or electrical engineering with a strong background in one of the 
following topics:
- computer vision and video processing (tracking, low-level feature 
extraction, motion analysis; 3d geometry...)
- machine learning
- surveillance
The applicant should have strong programming skills and be familiar with 
C/C++ and the Linux environment.

The position is for 18 months. The starting date is as soon as possible.
