JOB Description: Image Understanding

For one of several open faculty positions resulting from a major 
initiative for image understanding, the Ohio State 
University is seeking a tenure-track computer scientist who works on 
theoretical aspects of image understanding and whose work relates to human 
visual perception. We are particularly interested in candidates who are 
capable of interdisciplinary and collaborative research.  This position will
be a joint appointment between the Department of Computer and Information
Science and the Center for Cognitive Science, and is related to the image 
understanding initiative involving a number of departments and centers at OSU. 
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D and have a demonstrated record of 
research accomplishments in image understanding.
