Research Assitant Position available

 A research assistant (RA) is required to work on a large ARC grant concerned
 with investigating semantic representations and their implementation
 in the Dual-Route Cascaded Reading Model (DRC). This work will be part of
 ongoing research into this area at Macquarie University and will build on
 previous results.
 
 The RA will be involved in performing experiments to collect semantic data 
 in addition to running simulations using this data in the DRC. It is 
 therefore desirable that the candidate have at least a II.1 Honours degree 
 or equivalent postgraduate research experience and also have experience in
 the following areas:
 
 neural networks
 cognitive modelling
 good programming skills in C/C++
 
 The position is available for a year, starting immediately, with a 
 possibility of extension. The salary will be approximately $34,000 depending 
 on experience.
