backprop w/o math?

I would appreciate advice on how best to teach backprop to
undergraduates who may have little or no math. We are planning
to use Plunkett and Elman's Tlearn for exercises. This is part
of a new course with George Lakoff, modestly called "The Neural
Basis of Thought and Language". We would also welcome any more 
general comments on the course:
