Postdoctoral position in Computational Neuroscience
Institute of Computational and Cognitive Sciences

A post-doctoral position will be available fall 1996 at the Institute
of Computational and Cognitive Sciences in Georgetown University.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in computational
neuroscience and a keen interest in cognitive science at
large. Research will  focus primarily on models of sensory-motor
transformations and multisensory integration in human and
monkeys. Candidates will be expected to interact closely with other
members of the laboratory involved in testing stroke patients with
spatial perception disorders. Other research modeling projects will
be considered, in particular in the general area of neural
representations.

The institute offers a variety of laboratories in the field of
cognitive neuroscience using investigations techniques such as single
cell and optical recordings in behaving monkey and bats, a 7T fMRI for
animals studies and a 1.5T fMRI for human subjects.
