                    ROSENBAUM FELLOWSHIP

Applications are invited for a Rosenbaum Visiting Fellowship at the
prestigious Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences in
Cambridge. The Fellowship will allow the holder to spend 6 months at
the Institute from July to December 1997 to coincide with the major
scientific programme on Neural Networks and Machine Learning.

The stipend will be 17,500 US dollars for the six month period, and
travel expenses may also be provided. To be eligible candidates must
have a PhD and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents or have resided
in the U.S. for a minimum of four years.
