If the measurements occur at discrete but non-uniformly spaced times, they can be converted to uniformly spaced pseudomeasurements (for comparability) using interpolation of some sort. We are trying cubic splines in one project where the data sample times depend on human subjects' recording "4 times daily". Chris Lacher
