Assistant/Associate Professor Position

The University of Illinois is seeking applications for a tenure-track 
faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in 
human factors psychology, human factors engineering or aviation human 
factors. The candidate must have a relevant Ph.D. and will be 
expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses.

The faculty member will participate in UIUC's 
internationally-recognized, interdisciplinary program in human 
factors in collaboration with the Departments of Psychology and 
Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, the Beckman Institute for 
Advanced Science and Technology, and others. Current faculty 
interests include but are not limited to human performance, 
attention, aging, automation, communication, decision making and 
human error in aviation, health care, driving, process control, HCI 
and other domains.

The position is based on a 9-month academic year. The salary is 
commensurate with experience. The appointment will begin August 16, 
2006.
