special faculty to help teach courses in privacy engineering and ideally

solely interested in teaching, though preference will be given to someone

could be a good match for someone looking for a post-doc position and also
interested in teaching. The position is available starting sometime in
August 2021 and is based in Pittsburgh, PA.

The following is a more complete job description:

The Special Faculty Instructor will teach courses in the Privacy

Privacy in Software" (17-735) course. Other responsibilities include
co-organizing the weekly "Topics in Privacy Seminar" and helping with
privacy engineering capstone projects. In addition to teaching duties, this
position includes research opportunities with the successful candidate
ideally expected to contribute to one or more research projects in the area
of Usable Privacy and Security. Based on the candidate’s interest, this
includes opportunities to help supervise undergraduate and graduate
